whats the O/U on how many games Manny plays this year lol

1 thing I love about the show is how the rosters are updated each week where guys on the DL get placed in the minors and cant play online which forces you to make adjustments. Of course if the online leagues work this year that wont happen so I guess we'll see.

Yeah I like that too. But it's a catch-22. If we use SCEA online leagues we're stuck with whatever default roster we start the season with. But if we use leaguedaddy there's more flexibility and we have the most up-to-date rosters, but it costs money, and manually entering stats after every game BLOWS. lol

the SCEA leagues were running like a charm by the end of the cycle on last years game. The advantages are trades, free agents, injuries, pitchers that tire game to game (bullpen overuse, no manual rotations needed), etc.

agreed, I was in 1 of those online leagues but it started too late towards the end of the baseball season so after about 15 games in it dies a slow death.

I just played a game of the show online for the 1st time in months. If anyone still has the game and wants to get a friendly game in before the new game comes out add me to your list, psn id is PepperNY

I had exactly one disconnect for the entrie cycle of last year's game. And I had the game from day 1, and still play every now & then.

There were some connection/lag issues early on, but everything was pretty smooth after a few weeks, and the game played great IMO once the summer got rolling.

No matter what you will ALWAYS run into guys with connection issues with this game (for various reasons). I highly encourage players to hard wire their PS3 if they are serious about playing this game. Wireless routers are too "iffy" for this title. But that's just one man's opinion.

I too play this whenever plausible. But since I am still in season (coaching), gaming time is hard to come by. I am sure I will find time to get in quite a few more between now and the time the new one drops.

yep...lag will always be there vs some guys. there setup tends to be the biggest issue imo. some people dont know how to config there router....combine that with wireless and u have all kinds of lag issues.

i am lucky though. i tend to have quality connections with everyone....including the canadian.

I'm convinced most people just hate to admit the canadian kicked their fuckin teeth in, so lag becomes the scapegoat.





So has more info come out about the game yet?

i got a new internet provider for this game last year. It was as smooth as a baby's behind once i went to Fios.

Of course im in if there is a league. Im always hiding until baseball or football starts up again. My 2 fav sports, too bad madden fuckin sucks

I was hoping that W2B was wanting in on this as I thought he did a great job last year after Houtz went AWOL but I am starting to get the feeling W2B doesnt want much to do with running one which who could blame him after the disaster we had last year. Right now here is who I have down as interested:
