A HD reworking of the original Metal Gear Solid trilogy is on the way to PS3, according to 'insider whispers' heard by the ears of the UK's Official PlayStation Magazine.

In the mag's new issue, in stores now, it reports that Snake is "in the facelift queue", and that the "first three" MGS games are set to be reborn in High Definition.

hmmm never figured kojima would do it. games are perfect just the way they are IMO outdated graphics and all.

Wow...perfect? Dunno about that. 1 is great nostalgia-wise, 2 is pretty abysmal, and 3 is probably the best. Either way, I could do without a remake of any of them because they aren't aging well. These games worked back when cutscenes made ups pee ourselves. Now we have graphics during in-game shit that is better, and the bonus is we don't have to listen to a shit load of bad voice acting and Michael Bay movie writing.

Good point. I'm lucky because I have a fully BC 60GB PS3. But I know I'm in the minority.
