This is interesting: you do 50% damage on MBTs with the Javelin if it's been marked with the SOFLAM as opposed to 34% without being marked.

I guess I'll start leveling up my Recon class.

I've played with the recon class more than any other class and rarely use the SOFLAM since nobody takes advantage of me using it for them. I'll target a vehicle with it and wait and wait for somebody to take it out...never happens though.

I wish more people would use it. I run around with the Javelin unless there is air support currently on the map. You also don't need to have line of sight on your target either.

I haven't played this all that much since my time over the last month has been spent constantly working. I'm hoping once the karkand pack is fully released I can get back into it fully.

On a side note Dice has been getting grilled bad almost everywhere I've seen about releasing the new content on PS3 first and not the PC. It'll be interesting to see how that sways their decision making process from here on out since everything has been coming out PS3 first since the beta.

If that's true, then DICE hasn't unlocked the new maps for everyone who has a LE copy. I just tried to join conquest matches on Sharqi Peninsula and Gulf of Oman to no avail getting an error that said I didn't have the content yet.

So we have to download something when the Store updates. Probably just a 200 kB unlock too . Just another reminder of how annoying it is to have Sony updating their marketplace at the end of the day.

If they have as many flags as they did for Conquest on '43, the "new" Wake is going to be a bloody affair.

Especially when you consider that there's more vehicles that can kill the fuck out of you this time instead of a tank/P-40/called in bombing run...

Can't wait.

Addendum: I like how the new trophy/Cheevo requirements are somewhat of a challenge.

-Complete Warrior: Get a kill with an Assault Rifle, in a Jet and in a Tank all within a single life/ticket

-Third Tour: Get a kill with the BTR-90, DPV and F-35

-Gunslinger: Get 10 kills with each of the ten Back to Karkand weapons

-Like a Boss: Get a kill with the skid loader

-Jaws: Take a swim in the Oman Hotel swimming pool

I would assume to get to the pool would require a lot of stair climbing or a short lift using air support.

Also, to follow up on something I posted when the PS3 patch hit, the required co-op score to unlock everything has been lowered to 160k per Battlelog. It is no longer 440k. Also, if you had over 160k before the patch but didn't unlock all of the guns, all you have to do start a game of co-op to unlock the trophy/achievement.
