From what I've experienced, on Operation Metro the when aiming down scope all I see is bright whitish-green, and on Grand Bazaar you have to wait 2-3 seconds after ADS and then you can kind of see people with the IRNV

Decided to play Squad rush for the ribbons and it was quite enjoyable, almost peaceful when the other team just wants to sit at their spawn and try to snipe you when it is their turn to arm
I got put in with a good team though and the PS3 mics were working just fine.
4 teammates with 4 different squad perks going that are communicating is a great feeling.Comment

I always have Squad Grenade and my cousin always uses Squad Explosives
Always having 2 Grenades and 6 M15 AT MINE's comes in handy.

Battlefield 3 expansion Back to Karkand, featuring remastered maps from Battlefield 2, isn't the first time DICE revisited one of its games, and it appears it won't be the last. One eagle-eyed gamer spotted an easter egg that indicates DICE intends to make like Doc Brown and go back to the future with 2143.
DICE is fond of teasing future projects with easter eggs, most notably teasing Battlefield 2142 in the Battlefield 2 Euro Forces and Armored Fury map packs. Speculation is that 2143 will be the next entry in the Battlefield franchise and a direct sequel to 2142.
However, it's worth noting DICE's recent trend of going back to its previous games and remastering maps. Digital game Battlefield 1943 was based on the original Battlefield 1942, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 expansion Vietnam is based on the second game in the franchise, Battlefield Vietnam, and Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand is based on Battlefield 2 maps. So 2143 could very well be the next expansion for BF3 based on the 2142 standalone game.Comment

Wow, how dumb was that other team? I think it took Padman hours to find an unsuspecting player to run over with that thing yet it seems that those idiots were just walking in front of that thing on purpose.

Played a round of Conquest on the Seine Crossing map this evening...
100+ tickets on either side and then we (Russians) started losing bit by bit.
So after a while of chipping points as a Support via giving ammo to a teammate, I notice a T-90A respawned in our base.
...so I said, "FUCK THIS," drove that son of a bitch to Alpha, took that; drove it around to Delta, took that; and then sat on Delta until we won the match.
I think the end result was like our 40 tickets to their 7 before they had no respawns left and we won the match.
Still got 4th overall because before that, I thought I could take Charlie by myself as a Support (no dice after about 4 tries); still, it was neat to see the entire match turn on a dime like that.
