they have been having server issues, but when they are actually up, you need to join games via the server browser...

I've seen the BF twitter assure they're aware of the server issues like 5 times now. I don't even have the game yet, and it bothers me. I can't imagine how annoyed I'll be, if this continues, when I get it tomorrow.

It's real annoying. Been at work all day to come home and not be able to connect. Bullshit.

It's pretty rough considering they had an open beta that was supposed to prepare them for launch. Whatever the problems are, I really hope they get them sorted out because the multiplayer is pretty damn fun when the servers are actually running well.

Also, a tweet just popped up from Battlefield saying the servers are back up.

Can someone clarify? In order to receive the HD textures, you have to install both discs? I still have a 20GB HDD, and this is pretty much impossible, if this is true.

So how do you have take helicopters/jets that keep shooting out flares which keep making my stinger missles miss? I keep waiting you unlock better guns but it hasn't happened yet.

Hmmm........I dunno either, but if the planes have unlimited counter-measures than what's the point of having stinger missiles?

Balance issues.

Planes and Heli's should be fairly dominate vehicles in the game but even I noticed that it was next to impossible to stay in the air with everyone running around with portable Anti Air in their hands.

I've rented this before purchasing and it won't let me play online. Says I need an online pass before I can play the MP. Anyway around this?
