I can't wait to snipe from a mile and a half away from the action and have my team hate me for doing nothing to help them in any way.

Edit: I was playing BC2 yesterday and we were defending on that Valdez snow map. All the fags on my team were spawn-camping the shit out of the attackers at the top of the hill where they parachute down. I figured it would be a good time to practice with the sniper rifles and I actually shot 4 guys parachuting down from the defenders' spawn point. It was the only way I could kill anyone unless I wanted to join in the spawn-camping "fun".

Don't really see this as a big deal. A lot of PS3 games have substantial installs anyways.

It seems like a pretty big deal to me, especially if you have one of those 4GB consoles or limited space on hour HDD. Plus the article says "almost like" the PC and PS3 versions and they still won't tell you the size of the damn install, which I would imagine is significant considering the game is out in less than a week. ZERO CHANCE they don't know how big it is considering the game has already been pressed and in most cases sitting in store back rooms now. The fact that they won't tell you the size is alarming.

As for "a lot of PS3 games needing substantial installs", the last game I remember needing anything remotely substantial, besides the recent Rage's 8GB, was MGS4 and that was several years ago.

Bomberooski, I really think you should keep your eyes on this story. There's a reason EA has only been showing the PS3 console version at all trade shows.

I just think it's funny that at this point in the 360's life it seems that every big release is multiple discs. And of course every 360 fanboy or 360 only owner is going to say "No big deal." Bullshit. How many huge installs are you going to be able to deal with? And if you play even a couple of games then what are you supposed to do, constantly delete the files and reinstall them? Fuck that.

I don't really mind the install either Twigg. Makes me feel like the game is just cooler and more powerful. Consider my eyes peeled.
