I just noticed that Battlefield 1943 isn't included with the PS3 version. Apparently, the week early access to BF3 DLC has is the reason why (which is pretty lame IMO).

Well this is my first Battlefield game out of all of them where I haven't came out with insane problems. I had a couple drops and small framerate issues (mainly thanks to using old hardware cuz my new stuff isn't in)
BF2 and 2142 were utterly insane during the first week when it came to issues.

Not to give EA and DICE slack for the servers being wonky but same shit happened when MW2 came out.
Game was so hyped that there could be no way to set up servers big enough to accommodate EVERYONE.
Lifers, renters, people who will have only played yesterday...
I'd give them a couple of days before it's officially time to freak out.Comment

I think I might pull a Jay and Brnt and play through the single player while they are sorting out the online and server issues. Even though I only experienced some lag in one game all of yesterday I also noticed some communication issues, especially in that last game. Everything seemed to be cutting out every other word so I couldn't understand a thing anyone was saying. And I kept talking and no one was responding so I'm guessing they couldn't understand me either. Hopefully it wasn't just on my end.

If you got the Limited Edition, you'll get free access to the Karkand maps when EA and DICE finally upload them to the servers.
Think that VIP Pass from BC2 when they put up the new maps with game modes every moth or so.
As of now, I think they're waiting until the server situation is stable on all three platforms they put this game out on.Comment

Once we hopped into the game though communication took a shit.
After you left though it cleared back up because Pad and I were talking clear as day during our last 4-5 matches we played.Comment

Ok, cool. That's what I thought because they weren't showing as downloaded yet. It's hard to believe this game only has nine maps because I feel like I've only seen the same map twice a few times and I've been playing a shit ton.
Of course when I leave things actually work. I'm just paranoid it's something on my end. It seems every time I form up a squad and try to enter a game at least part of the squad gets booted back to the main menu. But when Rylo was squad leader and starting a game it seemed to work fine most of the time.Same here whiel you were in playing. i tried crashing a warthog into lefty, PB, 1ke and Bones last night, and even though it landed right on top of them, it didnt kill them...
