Rumor has it that there will be double XP this weekend, and there are plans for "Battlefield Premium" that allows you to download more personalization items (camo, dog tags, weapon skins). There is also a listed release date for Close Quarters (June 12th) and an unannounced expansion in March 2013.

No need for weapon skins and I pretty much bought all the custom tags you can get without having to earn them the hard way (EX: the Dr. Pepper tags vs. the 500 kills on the AK)...

MOAR XP is always a good thing though.

As for tonight, got Twigg, Trm, and Brink along for the ride... once I figured out how to steady Support guns without a Tripod (and use them with), shit was fantastic.

Unlocked Claymores for my Support and a new SVD for my Recon (even got a headshot ) so big ups to you guys for making it happen.

...but fuck IGLA's taking forever and a fucking day to lock on; I think I went to grab a drink, came back and still wasn't locked on.

What's funny was after the match, I earned the Squad Sprint Boost skill.

I'd still rather have extra mines or C4 though... it sucked knowing my slow ass Support guy could catch that spawn-killing jerkweed.

Best point of the night for me was playing Field Commander while defending on Rush on the Damavand Peak map.

I suspect that all of the team either locked their shit down or they were trying to rank up their Recon stats because aside from the few scant Engineers, it was nothing but Hill Humpers.
