NHL 11 the new Madden 04 for me online

I wish Madden 11 played 1/10th as nicely as NHL 11 online.
It's just so much fun ... and that's just playing random opponents.
I'd love to play a crew of guys who play straight and don't just pick powerhouses or teams with the best goalies.

NHL 11 would be a ton of fun if there were a regular crew of more than five guys playing. It's the one online sports game where lag is an absolutely non-factor. It plays exactly online the way it does offline.

I'm thrilled if I get 3 goals a game.
I don't know any of the glitches and don't really want to know.
With quick ranked games, I tend to get matched up against guys who don't know the glitches either.
I never get matched up against someone who has played 300 ranked games.

With the 1v1 ranked matched stuff your getting matched up with lower ranked guys.

I pretty much gave up on 1v1 this year after getting myself into the top 1000 because it was beyond frustrating.

I can believe that. I enjoy my low-ranked games.
I would hate to know any exploits. I just want to play a good game of hockey, have fun and let the teams go at it.
Heck, I don't even like it when my opponent doesn't let his goalie freeze the puck. Or plays offensive on penalty kills.
Or those fags who get rough or shoot it in my net after the whistle.
I'd kill for a realistic league where there were no exploits, and everyone played hockey like hockey.

The NHL series's online league/franchise mode is a lot to be desired. It has been the same layout since 08. Everyone picks a team, there is like 6 screens, all teams are listed in a row (fucked when you have 30 teams) no divisions from what I can tell. Really hope NHL12 has franchise mode.
