It's weird being the tour guide though when the only forms of transportation are a busted truck, a piece-meal security van and your own two left feet.

Especially when the attractions want to eat you.

How far in are you?

I barely started playing my copy last night with Jay, but I'm guessing because Jay accepted the first quest before I joined his game, none of the progress we made counted on my profile. So I'm a level 7 that's still on the first quest.

I'm hoping and praying that Riptide allows you to join any game that's open and that if you've already completed the quest your co-op buddy's on, you still get XP but maybe not the reward?

That and if it's a Quest you haven't gotten to yet, you still get a completion bonus (it's knocked off the list and you get the reward) no matter what.

I probably won't be able to get an accurate reading from one of my Alt. characters now because I left WAY off course towards the Gas Station and completed the "Waterdancing" Quest.

If Pad tries to join that, he's probably going to get F'd again for completion bonus.

I still havent finished the 1st game Im currently in the prison, gonna finish soon. Wish the second would actually allow 4 player co-op offline.

It sounds like we have enough people (PS3, right?). We just need to get on the same page regarding when to play. Talking about Dead Island (not Riptide) to be clear.
