[ALL] why do u own multiple consoles?

for anyone who owns more than 1 console...why do u feel the need to own more than 1? I have a whole list of reasons why i do....but i only need one

double demo download day...(yeah i just made that up cause im like a lyrical genius in the hip hop community )

days like 2/22 are a wet dream for gamers.
I will DL the DA2 demo on my 360 and at the same time DL the show demo on my ps3

these days dont come up often but when they do it makes me real glad i own both these consoles. i have a wii too which has its perks as well.

so why did u need to have multiple consoles?

Ps3 for blu ray and their exclusives. I can not miss out on the show, uncharted, gt5, kill zone, and others. Xbox for everything else.

Basically for me it comes down to 2 things.

Every console has games I'd like to play although as I stated in another thread, tI haven't found a reason to turn on my 360 in near a year now. Nothing has grabbed my attention. But originally I got all three cause there were games on each i wanted.'

The other factor is if I am going to play online, what console do the people I would like to play with have. When I was in Minneapolis, most the people i would have played with had a 360. Here in Green Bay, the people I would play with have a PS3. I guess the Wii doesn't really count here.

i have a 360 and thats what i primarily play bit i also got the Wii when it first came out because it was a different type of system, but i only really play it when im with other people because the Wii is much more fun to play with multiple people.

I play games I don't need live for on the ps3, like nba/madden/mass effect. Any multiplayer, I play on the 360 like halo/cod.

MLB The Show was mainly the reason i own a PS3 until I decided i'd build a Blu Ray collection. The 360 is what i have all my games i play online and shit.

Pretty much exactly the same for me. I love having the option to be able to play every game that comes out.

But if I had to choose one it would be the PS3. All of my close friends have a PS3 so if I'm going to play something online it's going to be on PS3. All of them had 360's as well at one point but got rid of it or sold it after they got tired of it breaking on them.
