Speaking of Teambuilder, any word on it? Hopefully they give the option to get rid of the split sided crowd if you chose to use a Bowl Stadium as your home.Comment

SUPPOSEDLY they are spending a lot of time on defense too which I hope is true.I dont know how many times the game came down to whoever had the ball last on offense because of the lack of DComment

They are releasing the other guys covers for dl. Pretty sure this will be the same for Madden '12. The voting means nothing in the end.
For those of you who voted for Nick Fairley, Jake Locker, and DeMarco Murray to be on the cover of NCAA Football 12, we'd like to thank you for your efforts by providing down-loadable covers of your favorite athlete. As we get closer to launch (July 12th), you'll be able to download the covers directly from the official NCAA Football 12 website!Comment

I believe they already have that, I had a dynasty as Appalachian State Starting out as an Independent, and by my 3rd year I got called up to replace Duke in the ACC. I don't know if it works the same with other Non-BCS.

Either way, I'm not paying a dime for something that was in NCAA 11 and they took out of the game in order to nickel and dime us. What a fucking rip off. Good thing alternate uniforms aren't part of the core gaming experience.Comment

Wow. So EA scammed us in order to drive traffic to their site and up their ad revenue for some meaningless vote? Color me shocked. Good thing I didn't vote.Comment

Is that confirmed or are you reading into that because some Nike Pro Combat uniforms are DLC with a preorder?

Furthermore, the amount of time and energy it takes to make something like that is time that could be better spent on gameplay upgrades or even presentation upgrades that are consistent from team to team like upgrading sideline interactions, the feel of the crowd, etc. At least do something useful for everyone.
They either don't listen to the right communities or (more likely) just don't give a fuck. The circle jerk over at OS isn't doing one damn worth of good because everyone is forced to like it or else get banned. One of their prominent NCAA posters has been pining away for dreadlocks not being in next gen for like 5 years.
I'd like to give them some credit for making a good game but they make it so damn difficult when they do stupid ass shit like this. I wait for more detailed news on the tackling engine but I wouldn't be shocked if EA manages to fuck that up as well.Comment

True but as EA tends to do, they will probably fuck up any presentation aspects new to this year. Look at the Florida State entrance. That's neat until you realize how lifeless and unexciting it is. Chances are I'll never see that entrance in the game because I won't play as FSU, won't ever play FSU, or just X through the screen before I ever get to see the entrance. They spent a dick load of time making something the average user won't ever see or care to see. So they spent all of this time basically for a trailer. How fucking misguided can you be? I do not care about UGA and neither does anyone outside of Georgia so fuck off EA.

I played my dynasty as ND and how many times did I watch them smack the sign? 3? Maybe?
This entrance shit doesn't mean crap unless the gameplay is fixed.
EA has no interest in getting honest feedback about the game. Hence why they left MM.Comment
