You're right. I ran a test dynasty where I called four verticles every play. Computer never adjusts, it's one of the best money plays in the game. Works against zone or man coverage. I've seen some online dynasties where this play is banned.

I'd also say that for me personally the vids of NCAA 12 almost look exactly like NCAA 11.

The issue for me isn't that it worked on that specific play though. I'm more concerned about whether or not the computer will adjust. Example: If I call 4 verts all time will the computer keep coming out in cover 2 and letting their linebacker get beat. That's the issue. We can debate all day about what coverages 4 verts should or shouldn't work against. If the computer does a poor job picking it's defensive plays none of it matters they're going to get beaten all day.

I'm also worried about things like will there be a pass rush to make me think twice about spreading the field and leaving no hb/fb help block.

I don't think EA will ever fix the pass rush. A realistic pass rush is not casual gamer friendly.

The only hope again for that will be hoping EA tweaked the effectiveness of some sliders.

Right now with gameplay looking almost identical and no crazy awesome presentation additions, I am really hoping the Dynasty mode got a lot of new features to play around with. If not I will probably just hope someone makes some updated rosters for NCAA 11.

Trust me, I know. I probably play NCAA more than most here, especially Online Dynasty. I know the 4 verts play very well and it's exploits. but again, unles we see it vs, say cover 3, all we got is that one play.

Even Cover 3 a skilled user will position his WR to make the play... Idk... remember the problems with madden when Cover 3 was just boss... you really can't get back to that either, there will NEVER be a happy medium where people agree, either Man or zone will be at the very least slightly better in any game. I wouldn't like to see the LB turn and run with the WR anywhere past about 5 yards from his zone at the very most, because then we open up an entirely new flaw where people can send a TE vertical and just slant the slot WR right under it for 10+ yards every play. I was pretty happy with the game last year, there can be improvements made obviously there always will be, but there will also always be a way around things in any game, that's what gaming is and always has been since the days of warp levels in Mario Bros, and even earlier then that lol

You completely missed my point. It isn't about a user vs user game, or user skills or anything like that. It's about the proper play called vs the reaction of a cpu player (or CPU teammate for that matter). It was only one play, vs cover 2 and the LB got beat. Looked like a good play to me, good defense, even better offense. Lets see what would have happened vs cover 3, cover 4 or man D in the same situation (although I'm not hopeful for that either) before we called it flawed(it sure was last year).

That bold part was more of my point, I got your point, I was mainly responding to Irish saying he wanted the LB to carry with him, and then saying that I hope Cover 3 or any one coverage isn't completely dominant

                http://www.pastapadre.com/2011/05/14...-demo-outlined
EA Sports held a developer chat yesterday and The Gaming Tailgate noted some of the news to come out of that with discussion having taken place regarding the upcoming demo for NCAA Football 12. There will be two separate matchups to choose from and five Nike Pro Combat uniforms available to unlock through play. The structure would be similar to last year which instead had four matchups and offered all of the Pro Combat uniforms.

The demo for the two previous iterations arrived mid-June and last year it was the day before E3 opened. This time around the convention takes place earlier in the month with the demo said to follow. Tuesday June 14th or 21st would then be the two dates most likely for the demo to fall on.

I wonder which five pro combats they are. I wonder if they are different than the ones you get from pre-ordering at EB Games/Gamestop

Executive Producer Roy Harvey visited the set and announced a new feature: Coach Mode. This mode will allow users to call the plays and pre-snap adjustments while watching the CPU execute the plays in a broadcast style camera.

They're going to use teams that have pro-combat unis and that have good pre-game entrances to show off.

I know there's a large sub-community of Coach-moders, but I never understood the appeal of letting a game play for itself. When I play games, I play games. :ionno:

Also players who like to go deep into the franchise mode....you could possibly "play" 20 and all 30 years.

In NCAA, maybe. 20 seasons = 280 games max. if you've got a conference championship and bowl game every year, which probably equates to 300+ hours of gameplay. You'd have to really, really love this game. I got bored as shit playing a half a season in a solo franchise for NCAA 11. The CPU plays as smart as a partially retarded 9 year old.

EA came out and said the average online dynasty lasts less than a season, I doubt the average offline one makes it past 2. If anyone can make it through even 10 years of offline dynasty against the computer EA should send them the new game for free. No way I could get through that. I'd be ready to stab myself by season 4.

We are on season 9 of a 12 user online dynasty...we will get one more season in....for 10.

I think 10 is all you can feasibly get through with 12 guys. We have 1 dynasty that is on year 12 I think....crazy.
