Defensive back AI has been the same since 2003. Every year on my first deep throw I hope and pray the AI DB's don't all run right towards where the ball is going after its released and yet they do. Despite their heads being turned they all start running to the spot.

It's actually regressed since '03. Just this year they've made man defense run far too effectively by everyone. Bump and run defense is too effective in many cases, and zone defense is good situationally, but there is no way to build a defense around certain zone coverages. They need to overhaul this aspect of the game. Like you said DBs need to be aware of their assignment and cover accordingly... They need to play receivers instead of playing the ball in man... It seems like they are just part of an animation that leads to a result instead of a reaction to the receiver/quarterback. I'd eat this up if it were done correctly, but alas... no luck. Last year they supposedly fixed a lot of the blocking quirks, so hopefully this could be the year for the DBack.

        25 New Plays - Play #3

Shotgun Spread Flex Wk Y-Stick – Another spin on a staple play of the Air Raid offense that’s used by Houston, as well as others. Shotgun Spread Flex Wk Y Stick calls for the halfback to motion out of the backfield to the right. This motion puts him in a spot that allows the Y-Stick concept to develop.

I really think all of these extra plays is leading up to a custom playbook where we can integrate them all into our own playbook. Just sayin'.

4-2-5 Over Thunder Zero Cop –A new addition to the 4-2-5 defensive playbook, Thunder Zero Cop is an aggressive pressure scheme that calls for both inside linebackers and the strong side safety to blitz. The unique aspect of the scheme is the term “Cop”, which tells the defensive end to play man coverage, usually on a tight end.

Do you see yourself running the 4-2-5 Over Thunder Zero Cop in NCAA Football 12? Which teams do you think are best equipped to run this play?

                  Make read options work correctly.

Make sure dynasty mode runs correctly.

Make the CPU not blitz every damn down when playing against them. etc.

Fuck new plays. Useless bullshit until the game itself is tightened up.

No. All the plays displayed so far are new. The 4-2-5 never had this play. I play with the 4-2-5 a lot now and this is a really good addition.

Too bad the 4-2-5 man alignment against trips is still messed up.

Even though this poll was from last year, you gotta think that of that list we will be getting Coaching Carousel, Coaches on the sideline, and the AD Mode. What I want to know is how is a "broken sack animation" a college specific animation? lol

                          25 New Plays - Play #5

Weak I Normal Y Over Fly Sweep – Oregon State’s Weak I Normal Fly Sweep has the TE aligned on the line of scrimmage to the split end side of the formation. This creates an unbalanced set to the left with extra blockers for the fly sweep.

Wow, it only took until 2011 to get grass? Amazing!

So are they bringing field degradation back? I'm guessing not.

Better have a fleet footed TE to run that Sweep play

I expect nothing for EA Sports Football games at this point. I just enjoy playing OD with friends.....its a great set up.
