If the sliders are the same as they are in play now games for pitching, there is no doubt that the stamina will have to go down for both starter and reliever pitching. Thing is we will have to wait and see how fast pitchers recover after pitching these multi inning games.

Disagree on the SP's. They tend to get tired at around the 90-100 pitch mark, which is realistic.

RP's I havent really noticed. It's something I will be testing in Spring Training games.

I suppose you are right in regards to the 90-100 pitch count.

Yea relievers pitch for way to long as far as i can tell, Also i can actually hit really well this year on any setting now, im batting about 270 online mostly in all-star and a few on legend.

I suppose I should make note of the two slider changes I made to start with.

We are on Vet Hitting, AS Pitching btw.

But for sliders I dropped pitch speed to 3 and Human Timing up to 7. So that's what you are currently playing with.

After more feedback/games come in I'll look to change what's bothering people. I will change one more thing tonight though, which is lowering RP Stamina to 1. That's something that needs to be addressed right away. One thing we need to watch with RP stamina, is not only how long they last but their recovery time. If they are draining too much too fast, then closers might not be able to be used in the higher frequency that they are sometimes used in, if you catch what I mean.

I notice the league rosters are the out-of-the-box rosters.

KG, did you have an option for the most current roster update? I'm assuming everyone will want to use whatever is most current to start with when we start for real?

I also recommend that everybody screws around with the transactions as much as they can, because last year it was very buggy and its better to catch these things now.

I plan on moving guys up and down from the minors frequently and trying out the DL every time someone gets hurt, just to make sure that shit works right and/or doesnt cause bugs.

Will FA's and trades be OFF for the real season?

Played a second game v Philly (6-4 Marlins)

Hitting seems really friendly on these settings

Anything near the plate with early, good, perfect timing had a chance to leave the park or go for a double

I just played Malbin, 2-1 final, 7 total hits between us.

He struck out 20 times, I struck out 12 (I think). I cant speak for him, but most of my K's were just shitty hitting.

The ball was MUCH easier to pick up with the sliders, but i'm not making judgements on one game.

I intentionally went to my bullpen early, to test out RP stamina. I had one RP go 2 innings (20 something pitches), next game i'll see where he is at stamina wise.

I want to push someone to 3 innings next game. Any RP that goes 3 should be unuasable for a game or two.

Sorry about quick pitching KG. I didn't realize I was doing it if I was.

                              After playing Archer and KG:

Too many homeruns. I don't think I have seen a run scored that wasn't a homerun yet.

Pitching for me was easy with analog even despite some lag I faced. The ump fucked me over too many times against Archer. I couldn't believe it.

With Archer after he made a bullpen switch in I think the 6th, the ball kept disappearing before the plate and would lag as the ball leaves the pitches hand. I was getting Too Early every single time and it really got frustrating at the end.

I didn't have much problems with KG until he went to the bullpen in the 3rd. Then I was up 6-0 and was kind of lax about it, but that same issue with Archer arose with the ball disappearing and lagging after the throw. I don't think I hit a single curveball the entire game.

Some of it could be my issues as well by playing analog and not knowing everybodys stance yet to help time my pre swing. It still got frustrating when KG pulled it close.

Whether the bullpen switch is an issue or not IDK. But I get most of my hits before the opponent goes to the pen.

Agreed, which I just found out the hard way vs Irish. He's going to be a thorn in the regular Sombrero players sides, cause he's stupidly patient at the plate compared to most of ya's, myself included.

Held him to 5 hits, but 3 left the park and totaled 6 runs. Got 5 and had a chance to tie in the 8th but got thrown out at home.

                                Game was pretty damn fun.

Forgot to change the slider for RP stamina, just did that now. Keep me posted on it.

The pitch speed slider made all the difference in the world IMO, if you can force patience you can really sit back and wait on the pitch you want, while the pitch works his count up. I had Hamels up there by the 4th, which made him vulnerable to attack and score from. It was fun.

Maynard set this up actually, I guess he did. Doesn't matter much, we'll sort out rosters for the real season as we get there. We can go custom or SCEA, it's up to us (assuming custom rosters are working by then, figure they will be). That way we can have real players in the minors to call up.

I don't know, that's something we can discuss throughout spring. I've used all the roster management stuff (lineups, rotations, called up/sent down) without problem so far.

Yep, I think by the time we get comfortable hitting might be too easy. May have to close the timing window a touch if it gets there.

That game would have default RP stamina, your next game has the updated slider.
