Yup. GG Brotha. I couldn't get a hit to save my life. This isn't last years Show for sure.

The wildness of the Pirates bullpen set the table for Beltran's grand salami. Ohlendorf was rolling until they forced me to pull him due to "injury". Blah. Then Neil Walker went down with injury too and I don't have a backup middle infielder. Double blah.

I know Ohlendorf's injury was the key...Walk, Walk, HBP and time to sit on one with Beltran and got it...I think I am slowly getting better at hitting...the more pitches I take the more comfortable I am feeling @ the plate. still K'ing TOO MUCH tho

We're ALL K'ing too much. We need to find some good slider settings for our league or it will be a long, boring season of mostly 1-0, 2-1 games. Just like '09 with more strikeouts....yay!

pitch speed down a tick I suppose would help but then we all would need to adjust to slower pitches...I tuned fielder reaction all the way down as the jumps guys get are too good.

Nooooooo. I already think pitch speed is too slow. lol I'd have to grab lunch or something waiting for a curve ball to get to the plate.

Slow offspeed pitches are the biggest problem, last year you could look for a fastball and react to a breaking pitch like a real hitter. Now you have to remind yourself its a videogame and consciously remember to wait and wait and swing late if it's a slow changeup even if you know it's coming.

I see your point but I don't know if there a way to make the differnce in pitches more dramatic so we can tell fastball or offspeed faster...I think I made dinner last night waiting on a few curves to come in :tee:

GG brother, still getting used to the Nats. They surprisingly have some good hitters. Had back to back jacks in a random with Zimmerman and Werth against the Yanks yesterday.
