I played Maynard on default HOF hitting and pitching and thought it was great. I enjoyed having an offense again. Maynard my choose to disagree however. :ooops:

not alot of posting, but 13 teams got in 4+ games this week, not bad. a couple other guys joined late or were MIA for a bit.

based on the first week, 12-16 for the regular season is what we're looking at. still could change, but we'll see.

So how is everyone liking the game on HOF settings? Is pitch speed at default now or higher?

I have also read that believe it or not rookie vs rookie plays out very well with hit varietys ect!One wouldnt think that would be the case but hell its worth a shot and i would be down to run 1 on those settings!i will be on most of the night tonight if anyone wants to scrimmage on this!

sabathia is a fuckin cunt. every pitch is half on the zone and very hard to generate consistent hits. god fuckin damn these NYY/TOR series gonna be fun. :flex:

it took me a few innings to get use to the speed again, I had so many check swings early. It threw me off a bit but it was a good game, Sabathia was just gliding through that game.

played Scmukie last night in a great game but it seems HR's are too frequent. In a 17 inning game Padres win 3-2 where the game saw 5 solo HR's. We both had about 8 hits a piece.

no HRs in my game with Irish...not many hits either...of course I threw trickey Dickey(R.A. Dickey) at him.

HR's still are a bit high but the hits are definitely there.

Obviously having a game with few hits is okay, these still are going to happen, but the regular game seems to be alright with the amount of hits. Also, not everyone is going to find the settings we go with to be "perfect" for their ability because we have a varying degree of skill amongst the players, so that's one thing to keep in the back of your mind when you judge how the game plays.

I'll continue to monitor box scores throughout the week and maybe make one more tweak as we head into the weekend. We're very close from being able to start, the settings are close and I'm pretty sure I know my 16 players.
