It's just the user reviews though. If I cared about those then I would never buy an exclusive game based on them. Every exclusive gets completely bashed by fanboys that never played it just so the score dips ridiculously low.

I didn't think reviews mattered at all to you since you bought every game there is anyways Twigg.

            Not every game, just most.

he's right. it would be one thing if a major gaming website was trying to claim independent opinion here, but the article only refers to a user review. who gives a shit about user reviews? if a bioware employee came here ranting and raving about how great the game was, but didnt reveal himself to be an employee, would any of us notice? and who puts any stock in what people say on the internet anyway? thats the point of the internet, people run their mouths about whatever and nobody gives a shit.

this is not related to the gaming industry, people routinely do favors for each other to earn influence. happens in politics, happens in the office, shit it happens when people go out to the bar together. have you never had a buddy offer to cover the next round if you played wingman for him? theres really not a huge difference. if you bought a shitty game because some website said it was great, then learn to spend your money wiser.

              personal responsibility, what a concept

With the availability of demos, and several other ways of renting games before purchasing them...who reads video game reviews? User reviews are completely worthless.

Have you got a partner for online campaign co-op for Resistance 3 setup yet?

Nope. Is it just two-player? I still need a co-op partner for Dead Nation.

From what I have gathered, it's co-op online campaign. So, yes two player. I'll look into it some more. Dead Nation is a no go for me, too many games that are still in the wrapper right now.

I might be down to play Dead Nation if I end up getting the $50 PSN card with Crysis 2. Otherwise, I can't buy it; not when I plan to buy Crysis 2 for $50, $20 on the $50 card, and Bulletstorm next week.

Edit: When I bought Homefront last week, they didn't have any PSN or Microsoft cards, so I got a $20 gift card in the mail. That means I can buy Crysis 2 for $30 if I use the card plus the reward points from Homefront. I love Kmart. I wonder if I should just not buy a $50 card with Crysis 2 and get another giftcard instead that way the next game I get will be $30 once again.

I never go with user reviews. I always go to forums like this ... and people I trust.

I consider forums like this the real "user" review.
