[3DS] Can someone tell me what's wrong with my remote?

I know most here don't have a Wii and the ones that do, myself included, don't play it much. But I figured I'd ask anyway.

One of my controllers does not respond at all. As if it had no batteries in it. I use a Nyko charge station and figured that since it sat charging so long without being used maybe the battery wasn't holding a charge. But I've tried regular and rechargeable batteries and still nothing. I've also taken the battery pack out and used it in my other remote and it's fine.

There are no signs of apparent damage so I have no idea what the deal is.

It also can't be a synching problem because it won't even come on at all to allow me to try to re-synch it.

Well if you look at the facts, something is broken with the power functionality.

It's possible that the long duration on the Nyko station damaged the power receptors in the Wii remote itself, not the battery pack because that obviously works.

    GG Wiimote.

Same thing happened to one of our Wiimotes. It hasn't had functionality for a few months, but like you we barely play ours so I haven't bothered looking further into it. I just figured it was defective.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Oh well. I guess I'll buy another one.

Yup. It looks like it's just dead.
