And I still love how people like Thunderhorse make this a race issue with Vick. I think black America (whatever the fuck that is, I still don't understand why people seem to think that we need to describe things like that) just want to support him because he is black. It's similar to the O.J. Simpson trial and how blacks fucking cheered because he was acquited. It sure had nothing to do with him being a great guy and being innocent, but everything to do with his race. That's about as ignorant as you can get.

And no I don't think everyone feels that way obviously.

Yeah Vick is kind of an idiot. I agree with him but saying stuff like that is just going to infuriate the animal rights people even further. He did more time than Donte Stallworth, who ran over some dude on a curb and killed him. Seriously these animal rights nutjobs need to stfu. There was a vigil in Milwaukee last week for a dog that was beaten and set on fire. Am I the only one that thinks that's a bit much. I love animals and all but come on. It's an animal. The only reason I won't be voting for Vick is that he's already been on the cover. I would have liked to see Rodgers on the cover but at least he won't fall victim to the curse. He can now start his campaign for NFL MVP and lead the Pack to another championship.

Black America was "cheering" because of the fact there was a time, not so long before Simpson's time, that a Black Man would never have gotten a fair trial. Seeing a black man beat the justice system that had never protected us in the first place was reason enough to be joyous.

White people are still angry about that, SO angry in fact, that they STILL bring this up, despite the fact that it was nearly 20 years ago. Even now, while Simpson is in prison, White America continues to voice their displeasure with how that whole mess was handled.

Am I crazy for finding it a bit odd that Michael Vick spent more time in Prison for killing animals then Stallworth did for running someone over drunk? even if I find it odd, and even if I'm alone in that feeling (which I'm not ), What more do you people want from Vick?

Nothing personal against Hillis but when your career accomplishment is being the one time winner of the AFC Offensive Player of the week, it is a bit of a stretch to become the poster boy for what is supposed to be the most elite football game on the planet.

The cover belonged to Aaron Rodgers but I could at least comprehend Vick getting the honor. Hillis hasn't even made the fricking Pro Bowl
