It released in the US today. Anyone get one? I'll never buy a portable again but this is a device that is definitely interesting..

"Portable Puke Machine" jokes aside, I'm hearing that the only good launch titles for this system right now are Pilotwings and Super Street Fighter IV Turbo 3D.

I'm not a fighting games fan and I have no desire to play a flying title...

So if I go back and get old titles, or Pokemon Black/White, this might be worth a shot.

...or I can stick to my DS for now and wait on a combo deal from K-Mart that includes titles I'd want.

I love my regular DS and play the shit out of it, interested in the 3DS but at not 250$ and not with its mostly unimpressive launch lineup.

Going to get it when the price drops or when more/better games that take more advantage of the hardware are out.

I played Pilotwings 3D at bestbuy last week and i was not impressed. In my opinion it just looks like there is depth in the picture. It is not impressive like 3D tv is. I would never waste my money on it.

Everything I have heard/read said that the 3D is cool but it's dept 3D, not 'jump in your face 3D". Couple that with the fact that the "experts" seem to be turning the 3D feature off after a week because it makes them nauseous (Kotaku) or it just doesn't work properly because you are constantly moving the system while you're playing (CAG).

Yeah I just played around with it for a minute, that screen with 3D on all the way made me dizzy the second I looked at it. The two screens are of great quality though, compared to my first-gen Nintendo DS at least. The thumbstick is great too, a lot better than the PSP's.

Exactly. I'll probably get the 3DS at some point because I buy everything but I'm going to buy the PSP2 D1C (Day One Confirmed).

I came across a friend today that bought one and got to mess around with some fighting game. It was pretty cool but I would never spend $250 on that. $250 is a ton of money to spend on a handheld considering you can get a PS3 for only $50 more (and it only does EVERYTHING)
