So I have a small update on the Fanatec Forza Motorsport 4 wheel. First off there will be two models available. A “standard” and “elite”. The standard looks to come with what any other wheel would however the wheel is much beefier than the offical Xbox wheel and features metal construction. It also appears to come with a metal pedal set. The elite has a more stout electric motor which I would venture to guess has more accuracy than the standard. It also comes in a different housing and features a carbon fiber center piece. What really sets the elite version apart is that it can take attachments such as a handbrake or H-pattern shifter. I will try to get more info from the Fanatec guys tomorrow. I will also have some video of the wheel in action. In the meantime check out the pictures I shot of the wheel at the Forza Motorsport 4 exhibit.

Looking good so far, they should have no trouble making GT5 look bad in the features area. I just hope they nail the actual driving physics like GT5 did. If they pull it all off, I'll be a happy camper

Graphics look great. I love that it looks a bit grittier. GT5 always seem too sterile for me.

I know what you mean. I was always used to Laguna Seca looking so pretty in the GT series, until I went there for the first time and it was nowhere near as clean in real life.

In one weekend the champ cars turned that track almost black from all the rubber

Finally 16 cars in online races. I got tired of 8 car races which were usually 1 car blown past everyone, and then 2 cars fighting for 2nd, and then 3 cars for 4th and then everyone else being out of it completely.
