Well, I guess this explain the Twitter response I received from Josh Looman. Some EA nut hugger was begging for a Madden 12 release date and Looman ( I think it was him) retweeted "News coming soon" or some other typical bullshit response. I responded with a smartass "I'd bet it will be the first week of Auguest...LIKE IT ALWAYS IS." and Looman shot back "You would be wrong". Now I know why. What a dick.

Everything will be fine. EA will pump out another mediocre football game in Madden and the majority will buy it because what other option do we have?
IMO, they should just keep what they have in Madden 11, patch some things into it and skip 12 all together. That wouldn't be good for their fat ass wallets though.Comment

I'm still pissed there is no CBB games. 2k needs to make one again. And EA needs to get the baseball license back."It's the revenge of the dicks that's nine cocks that cock nines"Comment

People have been clamoring for more realisim in these games for years. EA Sports decided to give them what they want. No NFL season=no Virtual season. it doesn't get more realistic than thatComment

Not necessarily true and I'm evidence of that.
I've been looking to move on from my position for about a year now. How much effort do I give? Maybe 50%? Just enough to keep managers happy? Pretty much.
These guys knew they were leaving, but for how long? I doubt they were putting in their best efforts knowing they had one foot out the door.Comment

We're talking about a "scoop" from PP where he doesn't bother to name names. Why not go to Bleacherreport next?Comment

He cites his source as the Orlando Business Journal, FWIW.

It's a sensationalist article (well, in the insular community of video game football junkies) where he has people hitting up his website to see if IAN IS LEAVING!!! He left it vague enough (no sources, no names) that he can't be wrong. If it doesn't happen, he just says last second changes, change of heart, got a raise ect ect and never gives a name. If some unknown leaves, he just claims that is who he was talking about. If a developer gets re-assigned within the company (which is pretty common) than he claims that was his story and that person was using the new company as leverage.Comment
