It won't be the same as the bot A.I. found in Perfect Dark (you could set the bots to have extra speed, more armor, use better tactics to the point that they 'know' where you're at at all times, etc.), but it's better than nothing.
You can't replicate griefers, wall shooters, hackers or your dumbass friends but it's this or scripted events that end up in GameFaqs manuals the next day.

Did it state whether or not the bots could be adjusted? I didn't remember seeing that in my first read-through.
I'm confused? What does the PSN have to do with Brink?
Just letting people know that if they were interested in getting Brink, don't let the PSN outage stop you. You'll get a leg up on those that do wait when PSN comes back online.

The developers keep touting that the game could be played seemlessly from MP to SP with the bot system they have in place...
As for adjustments, I'd either have to see the game myself or assume that the tweaks to the Bot A.I. would just be directly affected by an "Easy --- Normal --- Hard --- Impossible" slider.

whats up with this game....is it supposed to be good.....seems semi interesting.
Think of a tactical shooter in the vein of Battlefield minus the vehicles but with the addition of free-roam scaling of any environment you're in.
There's customization for your personal character (clothing, tattoos, hairstyles, facemasks, etc.) as well as the weapons they use and the gear they carry (if you play as a Heavy-type Soldier, you can carry a huge Mini-gun and dispense ammo to teammates for example); all of which can be earned through XP while playing.
Also, depending on the level you're on and what class type you have, you can choose to do extra objectives for XP points and to help your team win (you can set up turrets as an Engineer to help cover your buddies in a firefight).
