I don't think your thinking about it enough lol.

    Leafs offseason training!

That's on Sony. If these so called "kids" only way to respond to something that angers them is to fuck shit up..... Well then that's on them.
We all got the right to do what we want. So, I say "Thanks for the option for me to spend more money EA.... Fuck you". and "Sorry kiddies, that you didn't get your way, but I really don't give a fuck".

My concern is just not owning it. I've already had an issue with DLC for an original Xbox game on the 360, so I know it can happen, and even though I like the game, I refuse to buy it again. There can and will be issues as things go on.

This just sounds like EA's version of PS+.

Just sounds like another way of them to take off features and charge people to use it and then say it doesn't take away from the core experience of the game.

It's just going to put up more walls in the EA lineup. There's already the online wall for anyone that doesn't have online pass. You can only imagine the kind of shit they're going to give to the people that subscribe, or withhold from non subscribers for this service... however you want to look at it.

Getting the game early is about the only intriguing incentive, to me.

Man throws ball to other guy while the other side can't play defense... sounds like the core experience of a football game based on the NFL to me. :ionno:

It's like that anyway with DLC. I do hate how the online community gets segregated because of that shit. Once a new map pack releases you're lucky if half the user buy it so then you only have half the people being able to play each other.

Yeah, that's a possibility as well. I mean, we are talking about EA. They charge for DLC that are basically cheat codes (unlock everything packs). They fucking hold back golf courses on Tiger Woods and charge almost the price of the game if you want them all. But yet, shocker, they are included on the Wii version. I wonder why? Maybe because there is no downloadable service on the Wii. Hmmm.

Not the first time this has been discussed about companies holding shit back that probably could be included on a release date.

Thank you. Agree with everything posted here.

Oh, and people wonder why a lot of "story" modes in games have gone by the wayside. This is one of those reasons- if you can release chapters later for more money, or sell map packs for more money on multiplayer, that is where the focus will be.

So.... what's the solution? Boycott? I already buy everything EA used except Madden. Alot of guys have cut Madden out all together. Some have gone on to NCAA, some have just moved on. It just sounds like the ol it's a shit sandwich and we're gonna have to take a bite line. I know I will not be on board with whatever bullshit EA is trying to sell here.
