    [360] Microsoft backtracks?

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_syvdo25yAw&feature[/ame]

Pull all those banned consoles out from under your bed or from in your closet, because Microsoft just made one of the biggest mistakes they have ever done!

Earlier this morning, on April 26th, Microsoft unbanned every single console that has ever been banned from Xbox Live. It is un certain if Microsoft has a backup of all the banned consoles but as for now, there are no signs of the consoles being rebanned. With the unbanning of all the KV's this means all your Jtags will be unbanned as well, however booting them will still result in a near instant ban!

It would be clever if Microsoft did this to inspire the people deprived of PS3 to reuse the server, however this seems more like a human error. Regardless of the situation, someone is going to be in a lot of trouble for this one!

This is bizarre to say the least.
Best reason to have a license.

What can I do so that my xbox won't be re-banned?

I honestly do not know anyone who mods their consoles, so I do have look stupid and ask this question: why would you mod the console? Is there a legit reason to do it, or just to gain an advantage in games? I know that there are modding communities that adjust the game and play amongst each other specifically on PC, so that is legit. I'm just wondering here.

Some people modded them and were able to download free games.

I know Macken did it alot.

probably attempt to go flash your 360 with the current live firmware (just a guess)

Not to mention the hoarding of white ray bans. 15 though? WTF?

I thought this was an accident that was corrected almost instantly.
