You can make it so the turtle beaches play the games audio through the headset, comes in handy if you are playing shooters. I got the x11's for $60, and they can be used on a PC, 360, or PS3.

The description for the ones on sale on bestbuy.com says xbox 360. I would definitely pick these up for $32 if they worked with PS3.

With the PX5's the audio from gaming comes through your headset in 7.1 surround sound as well as people talking to you. It has a feature that lowers the audio of the in game sound to hear your team.

You can use the x11 and a lot of the other Beaches on multiple consoles/PC, you just might need another cable or piece for it to work.

I'm going to try and get these parts so I can use mine on my PS3, I will let you know if it works. I got my x11's for 60, but for 30 it would be a steal.

Im speaking on how they go about hooking them TB headphones to the PS3. It relies on using component cables.

Oh you cant use digital? I assumed you could. I have both hdmi and the spdif hooked up at the same time with my axpros. Sound only comes out of one at a time so if I'm using the headphones I just change the output device before I start my game.

I'd suggest just getting better headphones if possible. Fuck RCA quality sound.

I also use the PX5, best headphones ive ever had but they are a bit on the pricey side. I love how it works for both xbox and ps3, the fact that they are wireless and 7.1 dolby digital and they hook up via digitial optical.
