P.S.: The one thing I didn't see mentioned that has me curious is imported classes. I know they said they fixed the attributes, but are they still so clear-cut in terms of ratings? Last year, the guy with the highest overall rating was the #1 pick, and it went down from there. But on the Madden generated classes, you had busts and gems scattered throughout. I hope there's some kind of logic in place for that.

You can always edit the ratings if there's anything that sticks out. That's the beauty/laziness of allowing that option. :stupidsmile:

As exciting as these features are, by now we should have franchise mode presentation elements like a guy in an imported NCAA draft class projected to go in the top 10 getting found with a dead hooker and a suitcase of coke and his draft stock dropping him down into the 3rd round...

There should be stuff that randomly happens during a season, like a player with a hothead personality going on a radio show and blasting the QB for having a bad game and have a team chemistry gauge that means something..

Maybe in a couple of years they will have fully editable rosters. You can change not only attributes but physical features & contracts. Someone could put certain NCAA players (from the NCAA game) and put them in Madden w/o putting whole classes. If someone was crazy enough and had the time, go through all the rookies and change entire classes.

There are more than 20 different roles that players can earn in Franchise mode, including “QB of the Future”, “Mentor” and “Fumble Prone”.

We’ve even added a handful of new roles like ‘Playoff Performer’, ‘Trench Warrior’ and ‘Iron Man’.

Most of the roles will have an in-game impact. Shutdown Corner, for instance, impacts the ratings of the player that has it AND the QB on the opposing team.

Fuck. Yes.

Looks like I'll be buying Madden this year.
