I've bought Madden every year on release night, I'm too much of a football fan not to. But I'm really loving how much attention they seemingly have put into my beloved Franchise Mode, especially since they haven't beefed up the mode at all since next-gen. Back on PS2 I would play the mode for weeks at a time when I was but a young lad.
Only time will tell how well these additions translate into the game, if everything works as it should I don't see how Franchise Mode couldn't be a lot of fun this year around.Comment

The problem was it just was never really that clear when you would go to sign somebody. When you went to sign somebody, it just looked like they weren’t interested in signing with you, but if you offered them enough money they would eventually be interested. It was just tedious. As I’m sure you know, and all the guys on OS know, you had to toggle up the contract amount by an extra seven or eight million sort of like a guessing game. Then you would check and see if the player was interested yet. And if he wasn’t, then you had to toggle the contract amount up some more.
Eventually, we’d like to get something in there where players refuse to sign with you or something like that, but we have to be really careful when we do that and make sure it’s very clear why something like that is happening so it doesn’t frustrate the user. So if they desperately need a corner and Asomugha is sitting there in free agency, only some users just cannot sign him, they need to know exactly why and figure it out.
I thought this was a good thing. They have a interest meter for a reason. Everyone going to a high bidder is lame.
because it’s really up to you if you want to decide to draft an 80 overall guy that is really consistent, which means basically every single game you’ll get the same guy -- he could be a 79 or an 81, but he’ll typically be around 80. Or do you want to go out on a limb and sign or draft a guy who is really inconsistent, but has the ability to have a wide range of ratings and swings. So he could start as a 70, but you may get the 80 guy or you may get the 60 guy.
Ill passup the consistent 80 to get a 70 who "may" be an 80 but may also be a 60 ?
I also support Adembroski and dont think he deserves any bashing. That said I lol at everything EA says until I see it in action and working as presented.Best reason to have a license.

2 of my biggest issues.
1. No ability to pick "random" for both sides during a practice. I want to select a random play from a specific set for both sides. I.E Random plays from 5 wr against random defensive plays in Dime package.
2. No training camp. I thoroughly enjoy(ed) the mini games of the past. Why they were removed from franchise mode I dont know but I want them back.Best reason to have a license.

Yeah that comparison makes no sense. They should both be the same rating and you either get the consistent 79/81 or the other guy who can maybe get up to an 85 but also could drop to a 70.Comment
