Not buying anything release day till perhaps NCAA 12...later down the line I'll look at getting Red Faction: Armageddon and InFamous 2.

Dead Space 2 if we are lucky will be forgotten. IN a 3 month span you have Resistance 3, Gears 3, Rage, Dues Ex: Human Revolutions, Batman Arkham City, Battlefield 3, Modern Warfare 3, Twisted Metal, The Darkness 2, Uncharted 3, Skyrim, and Assassins Creed Revelations. This is all without even looking at the smaller in between titles and you know there will be at least 1 surprise hit nobody knows about until post release.

The old republic and mass effect 3 may be in there as well. You are right though, there is always a game that slips through the cracks.

Personally I can't wait to see Deus Ex. I think that could be a great game from what I heard and a good comeback for the franchise.

You and me both. I said I would never pay for an online MMO game and then pay a subscription for it, but I will have to change my mind. Especially since I am also a huge Star Wars fan. No way would I miss this one.

Dirt 3 is getting good reviews, so I may pick it up when it hits a sales price.

The better games will all be coming out later. Right now, Dead Space 2 is probably the Game of the Year, and Crysis could push for a close second, but thats it. I have a feeling though, that both will be forgotten by the end of the year.

As for me, I'll only be buying Duke Nukem Forever this month.

What about Mass Effect 2 (PS3) and L.A. Noire? Not will be up for GotY guaranteed. I would be willing to bet inFamous will be as well. The first one was in the running in 2009 and I'm sure this own will be more of the same greatness.

As for DNF, don't bother. Have you played the demo? It's mediocre at best. To me it felt like a launch Xbox 360 title.

Nukem's a 13 year old game piecemealed together from multiple designs, redesigns and code rewrites.

It'll sell but nobody should expect a miracle... or COD numbers.
