I wont lie, I like when an achievement or trophy pops up on my screen, but I still think it's a waste of time scouring the earth for them.

Also, lol at achievement podcasts. That's just sad (if there really are any).

Again, there's a reason why full sites (ps3trohies.org, xboxachievements.org), YouTube channels (PowerPyx, Achievement Hunter) and yes, podcasts (Achievement Unlocked) exist and are widely popular.

Why is an achievemnt/trophy podcast any more sad than the VSN podcast or any gaming podcast for that matter?

I would even venture to guess that people that don't care about them are in the gaming minority.

I mean playing a game and having an achievement/trophy unlock for you can be pretty cool at 1st, but going out of your way to get them to the point where achievement hunting becomes as much of a priority as enjoying the actual gameplay?

I'll be playing Tomb Raider to actually enjoy the narrative and the gameplay, the entire achievement/trophy list could be multiplayer based and I wouldnt give a fuck.

Well you do like inverted controls and Resident Evil 6. It's hard not to give you shit about anything and everything.

I love achievements. They make games last longer and help me do things I normally wouldn't do.

They're pretty cool and all but I've never gotten every achievement in any game ever. Just doesn't matter to me enough

I rarely can get all of the achievements, but a good example is in Saints Row 3, I went ahead and collected all of the sex dolls, drugs, and money scattered around the city; stole all the cars I needed, and assassinated all of the people on the list. I used to never do stuff like that but since I get rewarded for it, I do it
