Storywise, I think that they get really dumb. Not bad, per se, but dumb. If the endings to the Uncharted games and to Tomb Raider were made into an Indiana Jones movie, the ending would be Crystal Skull, not Raiders of the Lost Ark.

Yeah, a magical light (God!)melting everyone's face off isn't dumb at all.

Don't get me wrong, the IJ movies are classics, but let's not pretend like they had epic scripts either.

now that i am remembering, i liked the end of UC2. getting chased around that dungeon blowing up those crystals was annoying, but overall it was a great ending imo

i agree twigg. the IJ endings were all very far fetched...but they were fitting for those types of action movies.

Its crazy how amazing this game was and then totally dropped the all with such a terrible ending. I was so sucked into this game too. I just don't see why we need to have supernatural elements thrown at us for no reason. I feel the same way with the Uncharted franchise.

Supernatural isn't necessarily dumb. The Ark of the Covenant has a huge basis in history. Blue fruit that makes people Blue monsters? Demon cave people? Red dust people?

I would guess most people would consider Raiders to be a great script.

im not big on stories in games anyways, so that doesnt bother me. I dont find this game to be all that engaging though. i know the 1st hour or so is linear, but i am past that now and hoping it grabs me soon

I'm just past the radio tower. Solid gameplay, but there doesn't seem to be much story so far. Looks good on my PC even without TressFX turned on.

I'm still chugging along in this game. I just got to the shantytown. I had quite the scare while trying to get to the second downed rescuer.

I got it. Worth a playthrough or two. Just a meh version of Uncharted.

I dunno, if you're going to make a single player, story driven game, then the story should be pretty damn good.
