Enough people play both. You also forget that, since Halo 3, there has essentially been a new Halo game released every year as well. They won't be suffering from it, and I think if 343 can pull off enough "new" things, it may reinvigorate the franchise.

Already pre-ordered. I think you will like this game, especially Spartan Ops, and four-player co-op campaign
