I've been playing a bunch the past few days, but playing alone on multi-player I only get 2-3 games in before I get bored.

Serious question....Does this campaign get interesting ???

Im about an hour into it and want to shoot myself. I feel like ive done this 3209434098 times before. MC is somehow annoying this time around and sounds all cranky. Cortanas still broken. Larger but still insignificant covenant . Boring ass all way too similar weapons.

Im at the part where I have to press some damn buttons in a cave and the story is mind numbingly lame. Im hoping they are starting slow to setup some awesome reveal and battles.

For the record I liked ODST and Loved Reach. But this game is a snoozer so far. Should I watch Forward Unto Dawn or something ?

the Strike Team claimed it was only 3-4 hours long....so you should be about 25-33% there...just do it!

I don't think it really gets better at all, and like JMS mentioned is unforgivably short. Four hours on Normal.

It uses that same lame story that Giant Bomb has coined the "All Story" that games like Halo, Assassin's Creed, Mass Effect and several others all seem to resort to. How the main character is the "chosen one" and you have to usually find some artifact that was left behind by some god-like race and save the world.

I honestly have no cluse why it's on so many GotY lists. The story is lame and short as fuck. Spartan Ops recycles the same few environments over and over and is boring. The one redeeming quality is the competitive MP and even Pete, who is about as hardcore a Halo fan as there is, is disappointed by it.
