I want to do 2 conferences. This keeps the stakes high while cutting down on the number of user games.

I might be interested in a three-conference OD, but I definitely won't join if it is 4.

I just like having the stakes high, good shit-talking, and bragging rights. That's what CFB is all about.

3 conferences should run smoother, while at the same time giving us some user teams to compete against.

1 or 2 conferences, still leaves the problem with getting in user vs. user games quicker. The more dedicated members the faster it would go, hypothetically.

I think you should start with 2 or 3 and then, once you get the superb group you are looking for, think about scheduling more user games.

I hate feeling like very little is at stake, and competing with 3 others sucks compared to competing with 5 others.

I wanna give the initial list a couple more days to develop and then start finalizing from there. Once we get the members sorted out, Ill post a poll of which conferences we should use.

Ideally it'd be two 12 team conferences then you'd have 2-5 conference user games per year. Plus more potentially in the conference championship and/or bowl games. It can work with smaller conferences too though or you could switch teams around.

Getting user games in shouldn't be that hard anyway. I managed to run a single conference OD last year with no forum and complete strangers and it worked out. Shouldn't be tough on a forum where everyone knows each other.

This is exactly what I want. 12 players evenly spread across two 12-team conferences. Three users per division should be nothing.
