[PS3] Getting a 2nd PS3...

Decided to get another one for the bedroom to go with our new tv; mainly for BR & Netflix capabilities (sneak in a game here & there). Anyone know the answers to these few questions?


Can I have my gamertag on both of them?

If not, I'm just going to let my wife make her own gamertag and have it be the primary on the 2nd system.

If I want cloud saves, do I have to subscribe to PS plus for a year or can I just get 3 months worth?

Every arctilce I've read says how its part of PS+ since March but then put a line of how it increases your value of $50.

in regards to your question about profiles being on more than one console. Yes, you can as that is how people share games. all you have to do is sign into your playstation network account. the name of your profile on the ps3 however cannot be transferred I think, but it is irrelevant

the cloud saves is with every ps+ membership as I see it there with the free trial i got from sonys welcome back package

see thats a good buy. the ps3 is a fantastic media center. especially since they added netflix cause so many use that. i love it for its superb streaming abilities.

My guess would be either $200 (which I doubt because that would be a drop of $100) or $250 with a game packed in. Killzone 3 or SOCOM maybe?

If it was just for me, I would have waited but she wanted something to watch movies & Netflix. I picked up the 160gb Black Ops Bundle for 3 bills. If I would have decided a week earlier, I could have used the coupon that CAG.com had for a $100 gift card with purchase. DirecTV is coming Wednesday to install the cable box and whole home dvr (we can watch a recorded show on any tv in the apt. even if they don't have dvr installed with it).

My next big buy in the upcoming months are a pair of sound bars for both tvs. We don't have much to get true surround sound, so I want a good set. I found a nice Sony sound bar that had 3 hdmi inputs.
