[ALL] Crysis 1 coming to consoles?

Apparently it was rated by the ESRB. The same source that uncovered Limbo coming to the PS3.

who cares....it was cool on PC cause of crazy graphics and PC mods. Game is ok as a shooter....nothing special.

I don't know much about it. I know it had sick graphics but I heard the more open approach, ie not so linear, was cool too. If it were like $20 or $30 I'd be interested in it. It just seems so ass backwards though to bring this game to consoles after the sequel.

Agree on both accounts. I love the open approach and the suit, and i wouldn't mind playing a port of the first one if it wasn't at full price.

As far as graphics though, I would honestly have to say I think Crysis 2 is the best looking game I've played on console.

I don't think so. I still say Uncharted 2 is the best. There may be others that I'm forgetting. Crysis 2 was like a butter face as far as I'm concerned. Things looked great far from away but when you got close, it was ugly. The textures in some areas were downright :turrible:.

I liked Crysis 1 but I would probably advise people to wait till it hits the ol $30 range before getting. The MP sucked bad.

Storyline was fairly meh but it did have some interesting level design.

I wouldn't even be concerned with the multiplayer, assuming they even included that.

I'm more interested in the level design and the actual suit. I keep hearing that the use of the suit trumps the second game. It's like they nerfed it for some reason.

I haven't played crysis 2 but in 1 you were literally a walking tank especially early on in the game when you are just fighting the chinese soldiers.

If it came as part of a reissue with Crysis 2 for $60, I'd consider it.

More backlog for console shooter fans curious to see what their PC brethren had before hand.

That's probably what they are going to do I'd imagine. It seems like the most logical since they've already went hillbilly backwards releasing 2 first.

The powers in Crysis one gave you a bit more freedom than 2 IMO.
