I created 12 teams from my region's division and am going to start over playing what I played in high school, QB/FS. I had fun playing FS in the few games I had already played, but WR wasn't that great IMO.

I have to admit, seeing the real high school teams is a fuckin trip!

It definitely is! Especially when they uni's and logos are spot on. It's crazy. If the TB feature didn't allow for this kind of customization, I probably wouldn't even both with RTG.

I dont' want to go spend $60 on this just because everyone else is.

I'd like to get a game that is an improvement over NCAA 11.

Is it worth it? Between here and OS, I really haven't seen people say its the greatest thing since sliced bread.

im still holding off. its usually a solid game, but anytime a game like this comes out everyone is all hyped and posting all sorts of positives. after about a week or 2 we will see the negative.

not to mention that 99% of the people playing ncaa will switch over to madden in august and the ncaa discussion will be over. this is the trend since MM 2002/2003

the nice thing about vsn is the guys who play these sports titles are not fan boys at all. so any impressions will be worth reading

I've played about 10 games so far. AA, default sliders. I really like the game, but I'm not a superstar. I LOVE the feel of the gameplay. It just feels real. Running seems the way it should. You try to hit the hole, read your blocks, make a move and get up field. When I try to do too much, or go my own way, I usually pay the price. In the passing game, you can generally read zone/man now and adjust accordingly. Passing seems a bit harder than the last few yrs. Leaping CPU LB's force you to use touch when passing over the middle. WR's drop the ball often in traffic and when hammered immediately after the catch. On D, the swat is awesome this yr. It's no longer the ultra precision maneuver that required more luck than skill.

I've enjoyed the game so far. Frankly, it gives me a lot of hope for Madden 12 (since I'm more of a pro fan).
Is it perfect? No
Is it revolutionary? No
But I've enjoyed it so far.

If you wait till about Madden's release, you can pick it up on sale. Last year, Target had it for $50 4-5 wks after release. Is this a big enough savings that makes you wait that long?....that is up to you.

Safety coverage and and zone coverage of the corners is suspect on this game. Atleast with the deep zones.

I've played NCAA more than madden the last 3 years and they continue to let NCAA sh*t on them. It would be nice to see them step up.

I know it's been stated on OS but white uniforms (might be white jerseys w/ white pants) don't get as dirty with the patch DL. I played a practice game and had A&M wearing all dark uniforms and the Rajin Cajuns wearing all white. After ~30 plays (HB Dive)....Aggies uniforms were filthy but the Cajuns were pretty much clean. Many believe it has to do with the lighting on white uniforms post patch.

Is anyone else having problems with the screen going black and staying there when trying to play a game in RTG? It doesn't do it every time, but it is annoying.

Teambuilder has 12 slots. I imagine, you being from Texas, you can find every team in your district on there. I was able to find every team on Cedar Park's 2010-11 schedule on there.

It's pretty crazy playing with the real teams!
