Every time I turn Auto Save off I'll get through half of my season in the Dynasty and then the game will freeze, effectively making the 4 hours of work I just put in pointless.

Well that sucks.

I swear, the muted audio in this game is really taking me out of the experience. Last year it looked like they were heading in the right direction although there still needed work. Now it seems the crowd only gets loud on third downs or when the home team scores which is absolutely ridiculous.

I swear, if EA gimped the audio because the uncompressed version wouldn't fit on a 360 disc I'm going to scream. That's fine if you want to gimp it on 360 but there is no reason it shouldn't be DTS on a fucking bluray.

I don't think its broken, per se...its just tied to Coach Prestige and it seems that coaches get too good, too fast in this game. The problem mostly comes from the abnormal number of high rated assistants that don't drop in prestige after they take a job.

For example...Kirby Smart (DC @ 'Bama) is a 99 OVR, which is higher than Nick Saban @ 97 OVR. When Kirby Smart becomes a head coach, he's still a 99 OVR.

You should be able to be a 99 OVR coordinator, but you need to be dropped down a bit when you become a head coach.

So, what happens is, you already have a default...10 coaches that are A+ coaches...however, by years 2 and 3, you have like 20-30 coaches rated A+ or A because all of the good assistants become rated A or A+.

So, you see a huge bump in player overalls (I've never been an OVR stickler) because of it.

If they patch it where assistants overall drops after they take a new job (say an A+ coordinator starts off as a C head coach), it could take care of that progression thing.

In the meantime, some of the OS people re-rated coaches that seems to delay the process for a few years.

I thought progression was tied into the school star rating. Or did they change the formula this year to include coaches prestige as well?

Also i JUST found out you can turn on commentary in RTG. Does make the games a deal less boring than just listening to the crowed and stadium announcer.

funny....I turn the commentary off when I play my OD games. The commentary is some of the worst shit ever.

I use custom sounds, so I have commentary off and I just hear the crowd chants and cheers/jeers. If you don't have custom sounds, I'd rather just listen to music in the background than the game itself.

Bah i didnt even think of custom sounds, good idea.

I'm enjoying custom playbooks quite a bit. I just designed a spread playbook built around a power back. I'm seeming to enjoy power backs a lot this year.

Yeah i need to build myself a power running playbook. I haven't found one that i like yet.

Pistol O is good for the dual threat QB + Power Back and there are some good formations to have a strong passing game.

You can probably blame MS for most of the issue. Getting a patch/update through their certification process is a joke. It would probably be easier to get a sit down with the PotUS.

Even without rosters, the game's decent.

Finally quit ducking Brink as the Gators came to NC State to tussle.

2-15, 4 INTs and even John Brantley couldn't stop all that is Jeff Demps.

14-7 was the final score and Brink's still pissed about all those late game drops that should have counted.

I should have had like 7 picks though
