I dont think you can jump the snap manually. Basically turn on "Aggressive" Defensive line in the adjustment menu on the play call screen. Then your line will attempt to jump the snap to get penetration. The cpu is pretty good at sniffing it out though and will fake snap to counter which will lead to offsides or encroachment penalties.

If you see "jump snap" alot while playing a human then it usually means he has it on....so then fake snap on 3rd and short to piss him off.

Fuck this fucking game and it's bullshit INT's.

I just played my OD game. I threw four passes that one might consider risky. At least one of which is what I seem to think is just the CPU making my QB deliberatley lead the pass right to the defender, but whatever. Out of those four passes guess how many the CPU picked? Three. How many of those same risky passes did the CPU have? Six. And by risky I mean the pass was right in my defenders hands. How many did I intercept? ZERO of course.

I'm really sick of this bullshit.

Well, the in game "manual" says that yopu press down on the right stick, which is what I do but nothing fucking happens. And no, I'm referring to the CPU doing it. Nothing like getting blown up in the backfield or sacked because of a CPU jumped snap. And yes, I stagger my play clock usage and throw in some hard counts every once in a while. It doesn't seem to matter a damn bit.

Press down or click? I never knew how to do it either, I know it used to by Y or triangle years back. (might have been Madden)

Twigg, you jump the snap manually with the right analog stick. Flick down to jump the snap.

i say that every time i play. the game plays great about 90% of the game. But there is that 10% of absolute bullshit that just kills the overall experience for me. Its an exercise in frustration

i might as well trade it in for the $30 credit towards madden. And i only care about madden this year cause a browns player is on the cover

passing is a bit more difficult this year. If you have a noodle arm for a QB it will be tough to throw into those windows of the past.

I am fine with whatever the CPU does personally because 90% of the time i destroy them...so if the need to cheese me every now and then to be competitive then so be it.

I'm in year 2 of my Dynasty(Offensive Coordinator at Baylor) and Robert Griffin III has 98THP and 96THA, inflated and overrated I know, but that's how he's progressed. And he misses his mark unbelievably when I try to directional/lead pass. Not to mention, DB's clip right through receivers bodies, hands, head, whatever.

It's a terrible thing. But, that's what it is. I'm the opposite. I'm mad and annoyed when I'm cheated, and lose. I'd rather them play straight, and me destroy them, than the former.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It doesn't seem to work for me at all.

I'll have to check his ratings but I'm pretty sure Dayne Crust isn't rated as a noodle arm and he is susceptible to the bullshit just as much as Maryland's QB O'Brien.

Passing is a lot harder due to one glaring issue with the game, and I'm pretty sure it was an intentional fuck up so that it would appear the defense was improved drastically, and I've replicated it multiple times. Take any team and go into practice mode, set the defense to any zone defense and then try to run a post. Naturally, the ball should be thrown as soon as the receiver makes his cut and it should be thrown ahead of the receiver.

The problem is that the trajectory on the ball is so damn low that the underlying LB can get his hands on it. It's so stupid looking. I at first thought the super LBs were back, but that's not the case. The ball is simply thrown way too low.

Another issue it takes too long for the receivers to run their routes. A drag should literally take a second or two to develop, but often times, that's not the case. I've watched a slot receiver take FOUR seconds to run his drag and get to the correct spot on the field. That's ridiculous.

Another issue has already been stated, but it takes too long for the ball to get where it's intended to go. It seems as if it floats. It's definitely really annoying watching a pass that should be completed get tipped or even picked off because the ball is in the air longer than it should be.

The last issue is how quickly the defense reacts to the ball being thrown. The very millisecond you press the receiver button, everyone reacts to it. It's ridiculous looking. I remember this always being in the game, though, so I'm not shocked it's still there. Add all that stuff with improved AI logic for zone coverage and it can definitely be a pain finding the right routes to run in the right situation.

i just love CPU gaming(ers) on Defense.........sometimes i think they just put the controller down on Defense.
i really hope Madden isnt like this..........
3rd & 14, inside your own 15, up 6, 3:20min left to go = call a PA Pass and Cancel. *its Legit, so no needless complaining
