I'm about to start my Sr year with my RTG HB, Sam Jackson. I wasn't paying attention but how do you leave after your Jr year? I just pressed X to continue with offseason. I finally made a bowl (Insight Bowl) with a 7-5 record.

Check out this guy over at OS whining. Apparently, running the ball is "cheese" now.

Bitch should play me. I'll be the first to admit I run about average 30 run plays a game and maybe about 20 throws per game. That isn't bad really (I play as PITT and have Graham) but if the run was working wonders, I could easily knock that up to 40 in a game against a shit run defence. What is 'not sim' about that? You go after what is weak. If a team is 1st in pass defence and 50th in run defence, hmmm I wonder what I'm going to do.All you need to know when thinking of the NHL vs Madden series is the two people involved in making the games.
"rammer" and "cummings"
The NHL series is a giver, Madden takes the load.Comment

Just missed out on the Heisman my Sr. year (won Walker & Walter) to the QB for OU (ended up winning Nat'l Championship). My team (Purdue) finished 7-5 and had the last 3 weeks off, which allowed him to catch up to me...beat me out by ~90 votes. I lost against TX A&M in the Insight Bowl (1-1 @ Insight Bowl). Made another RTG HB, Corey Brown, in the mold of Barry Sanders.
2014 Stats: 290 Att, 2302 Yds, 24 TD's.
Career Stats: 875 Att, 5546 Yds, 52 TD's
Broke 5/6 school records.
Sam Jackson after breaking Kory Sheets 48 Career Rushing TD's school record.

I seemed to have an easier time this time around with a Speed HB, instead of using a Power Back. I got to be a 5 star (#6) recruit. While playing with Jackson, I thought I was going to pick a small school but I never got to play in a Conference Championship game or play for a National Title. Here are the schools I am considering....top 5 in red.
Scholarship
Utah - Pro - 2nd string
LSU - Multiple - 3rd string
Clemson - Spread - 3rd string
VT - Multiple - 3rd string
OU - Multiple - 3rd string
USC - Pro - 4th string
Bama - One Back - 4th string
Auburn - Spread - 4th string
Arkansas - Pro - 4th string
Walk On
Texas - Pro - 4th string
Stanford - Pro - 4th string
Oregon - Spread - 4th string
Miami - Pro - 4th string
Georgia - Pro - 4th string
FSU - Mutiple - 4th string
EDIT: I'm 99% sure where I am going to go and it won't be any of the top 5 but it will be a team I posted. I will post a picture tomorrow of Corey Brown in his uniform.Comment

For those using custom conferences, I think I discovered a glitch last night.
I had all of the BCS conferences set up twelve teams each, with protected rivalries. I was just simming, playing around, when I noticed that in year two the amount of conference games for teams was varying. For example, in the Big XII four teams had ten conference games, four had nine conference games, and two had eight conference games. It was the same in the other conferences to a lesser degree.
I believe this stemmed from me using protected rivalries, so I restructured my conference alignment. I'll be testing it when I come back from offshore to see if I was right.Comment

Yet again EA implements something and fucks it up.Comment

Probably just had my craziest game ever. We're down 10-3 when I drive it down to score a TD with about fifty seconds left to make it 10-9. I decided to go for the two-point conversion, so we could win the game right there. Nothing was opened, so I dished it out to the flat to try to make something happen, but nothing did.
Duke just needs to get a first down to win the game. I burn my first two timeouts after two runs by Duke. If they get a first down, they win. If I stop them, I get another shot. Unfortunately, they ran the ball all the way for a TD. I'm now down 17-9 with little hope left.
The obvious play is a Hail Mary, so I threw it down the field and somehow caught it with a defender draped over me to bring it inside the 25. After a few plays there were about seven seconds left. I throw it down the middle on a vertical route to get the touchdown with two seconds remaining. I have to make the two-point conversion to force OT. I have my slot receiver run a flat route on the right, and he caught the ball in the endzone for the two-point conversion.
The first OT we both match TD's to bring the score to 24-24. They have the ball first and are putting on a good drive to bring it within the five. I stop them on three consecutive plays to force them to take the field goal. My Quarterback was making the plays all game, so it had to go through him. I run the ball two times in a row to get the TD, and win the game in my number one ESPN Classic with 1911 points.Comment
