Pay again for games you still own or have owned...

I'd only say this is a good deal IF you haven't played these games and are only going to dump all your gaming cash into it.

...then again, you could just get an emulator and get all those games for FREE.

Yeah, but aren't they in 3D? Even the old games? I'm still foggy on this.

So what would stop me from buying this thing now, register to get my free games, and then price match when the price drops in a few weeks?

I'm seriously thinking about getting one. The one thing holding me back now is the battery life. How bad is it Tig?

It actually kind of ticks me off that it is dropping to $150 in Japan I believe?

I don't understand how they would be in 3D? These old NES and GBA games? Although admittedly all that I understand about the 3DS at this stage is that it gave me a minor headache after playing it for 5 minutes or so in a Best Buy.

Do 3DS games work on a normal DS? I doubt it, but I might wanna pick up a few of these titles, but I'm definitely not buying a whole new system to do it.

Well I know when they re-released Excite Bike on the 3DS eShop recently it was in 3D.

Of course not. But DS games work in the 3DS.

So are these re-releases then? I'm just confused I guess. Perhaps at this point I'm wondering what the 3D concept is at its core.
