I got my key on PS3.
The best I can say is keep trying to sign in. I submitted the key a few times and kept getting an error message. I had the same problem yesterday, but I ended up with two keys after it was all said and done. To determine if it was the same thing today, I restarted Borderlands 2 and signed in again. Sure enough, I had a notification for a new Golden Key.Comment

Slag Weapons, Explosive Damage and rocket launchers if you have them handy.
If you have Axton, put out the Turret as soon as you can and try to take pot shots.
Sal can just flip out and shoot slag and whatever elemental damage you have on hand.
Zero and Maya are iffy.
The Thresher's going to respawn its shield as soon as you take it down so you need someone with Electric Guns to shoot him first. From there, hit him with your Phaselock to do some damage.
Zero can provide a distraction for a few seconds but you won't be spec'd so high as to be able to pinpoint weak points.
Also Melee Damage is a no-go since the Thresher is a dickface about CQC.Comment

i have the cheat keys on the pc so i use a bunch every few levels . i had 255 and i am down to 160...if i didnt have this supply of keys i would appriciate what i am getting alot more. alot of it is throw away shit...relics, class mods, shields and crappy guns...but i do have a backpack full of choice stuff. I must say the game is alot more fun for me with kick ass weapons.
plus its not like great weapons make it easier. to an extent yes, but the guns are scaled to your level so as soon as you level and get harder bad guys, those gun become throw aways.
my biggest issue is running out of ammoComment
