why you brought up BL1 is beyond me, but since you did i just have to laugh because the final fight in BL1 was epic
....the battle vs jack and the warrior was weak....it took me less an a minute to mow down jack and then maybe 2 minutes to kill the warrior. The toughest part about beating him was finding his soft spot..but having those giant spider dudes in the mix made that a quick find because they gave you an immediate hint on how to kill the warrior.
It took me at least 10 tries to kill the boss in BL1 and the BL2 fight was not even a match...just because jack was a better foe doesnt make killing him better.
btw, way to throw in the insults for no reason. Lets hope mr bill hands out the infractions for breaking the rules like he is for being anti vsn

No. No it wasn't. You show up, stand behind a pillar, and shoot it in the eye for a minute. That's it. Even at the end of playthrough two, the only thing that changes is it has a ridiculous amount of health.
Rage is the only recent game that I've played with a more disappointing end, and that's because there isn't a final boss after it builds up to it.

agreed. the end boss of borderlands 1 is on the worst final bosses ever

.
how is your description of the boss fight in BL1 any different than BL2?
Instead of standing behind a pillar you dodge a few waves of lava and stand in the middle. Instead of giant tentacles coming at you from all angles, you have those giant spider dudes shooting at you from behind. Instead of a giant eye you have a HUGE chest to target
and you dont have to wait for a second playthrough to fight the BL2 boss....just show up again later and see that his health is only harder. Other than adding in the stuff with jack, its an identical scenario. Thats what probably makes it the most disappointing is that its not any different. Not to mention, it posed absolutely no challenge...i beat in in less than 3 minutes on the first try
anyone who had trouble with the final bosses in either of the two games is retarded, they were disappointing as shit.
I don't remember anyone saying they had trouble with the final boss. Wasn't a big problem for me, but it was still an good way to finish what was already a great story.

I'm not saying the Warrior is particularly hard, but you'll at least have to track his movements, move around, and dodge both his and his underlings attacks.
As for bosses reappearing after you beat them, I think it's a good feature added by Gearbox. It extends the life of the game by allowing you to farm them for their legendary loot once you beat TVHM. I don't know why you would expect subsequent boss encounters to be very different though.
i agree that its a great idea to have him re appear. i was just saying how the only change is more health.
im not saying its bad, but for such a great game i would have liked something better. and i remember the boss ending in BL1 and how hard it was. Then in BL2 when it was over i was like, thats it.
this is the only really reliable way that i know of. have the sidequest Doctor's Orders (given by Tannis once you get to the wildlife preserve part in the story), and dont pick up the audiolog thats in the cardboard box across from a red hyperion chest in the specimen maintenace area (i think thats what its called? its the building where
bloodwing's enclosure
is, and you have to fight a super badass loader to get in.) that group of 4 cardboard boxes will always spawn 1-4 loot midgets of various kinds, as long as that side mission is active and you havent picked up that audiolog. so run through the preserve, spawncheck the boxes, save/quit, repeat until he pops.
I tried running through the preserve over and over even after I read a lot of posts saying that's where people found him, and he still didn't show up. I eventually found him in a Hyperion supply crate in the Arid Nexus Boneyard.
