EDIT: It's much easier on TVHM as they evolve a lot quicker but getting him to spawn into Vermivorous is the challenging part.

Easiest (not really) way to do it is lure them over by the Threshers and they'll fight each other.
I fought a few that were Blue and Yellow - had never seen those before - tough bastards to bring down. I can image I'd be getting may butt kicked a lot if I went in there if I was between level 16-19. I didn't die this time, but came close a few times - I couldn't keep track of the flying Varkids vs. the ones attacking on the ground - thank God for the turret! That place must be awsome to farm if you are the right level (around 14-19) - I kept getting good weapons, but being level 21 and a purple lvl 15/16 handgun or smg just doesn't do enough damage. I'll go back there 1st on my next playthrough - can't image the shitshow that would be with 4 players in a group!

I did get a kick out of watching the Varkids fight the cyrstal (3 legged) whatever those things were.....Good fun as the Varkids would charge the crystal monster and it would kick the varkid across the map. Almost pulled up a lounge chair and beer to enjoy the fun!

Who am I kidding.......I'll be getting this as well. I had BL1 for 2 years and didn't stop playing, so the more content, the better.

What is the difference between playthrough 1 and True Valut Hunter Mode - is it just a fancy name for playthrough 2? I also heard there are areas accessable on the map in the 2nd playthrough that are not available in the 1st playthrough - any truth to that?

True Vault Hunter Mode is much more difficult.

TVHM is more difficult off the bat as the enemies are scaled better. There are new enemies that you have to look out for. However, you find a lot of money, and you level up at the same rate. Getting to level 50 isn't near as hard as the first Borderlands.

I haven't found any new areas yet. Whoever told you that might be referring to Terramorphous Peak, but you can still access that area in the first playthrough after you beat the Warrior.

GearBox CEO Randy Pitchford says different

Borderlands 2 is getting four confirmed slices of DLC as part of the Season Pass, but it has even more planned, Gearbox CEO Randy Pitchford tells Kotaku. We already know about one piece of additional non-Season Pass content, the Mechromancer.

"We will have other, non-season pass related DLC," Pitchford says. "The additional character (Mechromancer) is one kind of example."

We've heard rumblings of themes for future Borderlands 2 DLC: One may be an expansion on the weapons manufacturer Torgue, and another might involve Sand Skiff-like transportation. Pitchford reiterates a vehicle-focused DLC approach.

"Since we finished the game, we've started with some new ideas that we expect will show up in DLC," Pitchford says. "Some new vehicle types are on-deck – awesome stuff."

All of the Season Pass DLC packs will be "big," similar to the third expansion for the original Borderlands, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx. Knoxx raised the level cap, added 30 new enemy types, new weapons, new vehicles and improved the AI.

"The stuff we're planning and working on for the Campaign DLC Season Pass is big DLC stuff – more like Knoxx," Pitchford says. "We're extremely far along with the first campaign DLC. The second DLC is also in amazing shape. The third DLC is a little farther out and the fourth DLC is just in the pre-concept stages."

I actually just whooped his ass. But I'll probably be on tonight playing anyways.

I was alluding to all of these things, Derpy #1 and Derpy #2.

I'm going to get the season pass eventually but not today. My PS3 has been playing BL2 exclusively since it came out, and I figure I'll move on once I finish TVHM and farm some legendary gear.

Borderlands 2 shows the rest of the industry how DLC should be done (Eurogamer)

"If you've fallen into familiar combat rhythms, Captain Scarlett will shake you out of them. Just how it should be."
"Captain Scarlett doesn't stack its chips in one pile. It enhances every single one of the overlapping systems tangled up in the marvellous guts of Borderlands 2."
"You're getting an outrageous amount of gameplay for your money."
"This is a vast, generous offering: a true expansion from a developer that obviously cares."
In the face of the many things this DLC gets absolutely right, such quibbles are quickly trodden into the sand. This is a vast, generous offering: a true expansion from a developer that obviously cares deeply about its creation, rather than a corporate cash-grab mandated by the boardroom. More please.

Sooooooo...if I were level 50 and had the Bee equipped, and had a good/great sniper rifle with, lets say +50% (or more) Critical Hit Damage, are you just one-shotting everything you run across? The amp damage is more than 2X the shield power! At what level do the "Bee's" start showing up?
