Everyone that was at the 2K conference at PAX East is getting the new DLC Character for free.

Thankfully the last DLC for Season Pass 1 is all in-studio through Gearbox and not 2nd/3rd Party and is slated for the end of June.

I don't have any interest in any Gearbox joint without the Borderlands title as it is. I'm already doubting I'll get the next Borderlands on release, and if I do, I'm certainly not buying a season pass until after they've released a few pieces of DLC.At this point, I think most have jumped off the wagon.
After Colonial Marines, waiting so long to do the Level Cap increase (who here is honestly going to play the game AGAIN on a harder difficulty that PT2, through ALL the DLC?) and the 4th DLC level still on tap...
That new melee DLC character when we already have Zero is awful as well.Comment

So the last of the Season 1 DLC level packs is where you "play" as either Brick, Mordecai, Lilith (maybe Tina or Roland depending on where you're at in the story and when you start it I suppose) as they "play" one of your characters?
While you play as them.
Very Meta.
Also, it's set in a D&D campaign setting.

new limited loot chest
Gearbox's last Borderlands 2 loot chests were such a hit, they decided to make a new version to match the style (aka diamond plated) of the in-game chests in the sequel.It's a collaboration with Think Geek, and they're only releasing 5,000 of them.The chests will be stocked with new content, including redeemable in-game legendary weapons or items that will scale to your character's specific level. It also comes with a Goliath mask that you—your real, fleshy self—can wear, as well as a Shift code (found on the back of your mask) to redeem a customizable Goliath head for your in-game self. There's some art in there, too: wanted posters for each of the original vault hunters.It'll be available in May for $99.99 on Think Geek's site, or ShopGearbox.com (for international folks, you can pick one up at forbiddenplanet.co.uk).

I don't know why but I haven't had any desire to play this game. I have the season pass for 360 but still haven't even finished the main campaign on that version yet.
