Yeah, like Riley said, just save and save often. It's hard to get used to because of auto-saving being so prevalent in games these days.

I also have to say, buy the AR as soon as you can. I didn't because I figured that it would just be given to me like the other weapons. Nope. The mission I'm on now I've been forced to melee a ton because I'm so short on ammo. It seems the game is giving me a good amount of AR ammo but that's pointless when I don't have the gun.

Yeah, my issue is that literally every single other FPS game out today has a modern checkpoint system. So I forget. I'm on the mission where you go into the Shrouded base to blow up their bomb stashes, why can't it save after each stash you blow up? I blew up the first two then died going to the third, bam, 20 mins of work down the drain. Not the game's fault though, my own stupidity for not remembering.

Just complaining. The game is good in most areas. It has picked up after the bleh first hour or so.

Fallout taught me to save every 30 steps.

I bought mine in the store at the Hagar's place really early in the game. Go look again.

I think I'm going pretty good, but I haven't run into the Authority yet, and I have a feeling that they will be a major part of the game.

Yeah, it took me a while to get used to it too. I also wish there was a quick save button but I don't know how they would do that with a controller. It kind of sucks having to pause the game and save all the time.

That's what I was referring to. I neglected to make that purchase when I saw it because I figured it would just be given to me on the next mission. Nope. I assure you that when I'm done the mission I'm on now that I'm going to buy that shit.

And what's up with all these doors that are locked and give you the ! symbol? I know there has to be a way to get in there because I've seen a t least one occasion where there are some goodies behind the door but I can't get in. I'm guessing you unlock some ability later and can come back? I'm only hoping that a mission brings me back though because heck knows I'll forget to come back myself.

I'm not done with it, but it's a pretty good FPS. It's a good change of pace from all the "modern" FPS games flooding the market like BF and CoD. Not a fantastic game, but still one that any FPS fan should definitely play.

The more I play this game the less I like it. It's just so bland and generic. I seriously rolled my eyes when I got to a boss fight that had, get this, a conveniently placed rocket launcher right at the start of the fight. And the icing on the cake was shooting the beast in it's glowing weak points. How original!

Plus, the enemies just seem overly difficult. Their patterns are so unpreictable, which I guess is a good thing. But when it seems like your gun takes forever to load and the hit detection seems suspect at times, it just makes the game overly frustrating when you are wasting precious bullets on and enemy jumping around like a spaz.

I'm still going to play through it because I love FPS's and I want to see how things turn out, but so far this game has not come any where near to living up to the hype. About three hours in and this game is a 7 at best.

I still think it was a HUGE oversight not including XP in the game. It just feels so "empty" going from mission to mission and not really getting anything but a few bucks and a thank you.

It's definitely getting better. The last few missions I've completed were intense. These mind control darts are fucking boss.

I agree, after playing so much Borderlands, the lack of XP really, really hurts this game.

I'm ten hours in and enjoying it, but it's definitely not anything overly special. I'd give it a 7/10 at this point.

                          I'm about ten hours in.

I just completed a mission for the captain and it looks like I'm done with Wellspring. He said to wrap up any loose ends before handsome I guess I should come all the races because I've done everything else.

I popped in my copy last night for a bit, and the visuals are amazing. Looking forward to playing more of this.

Look closer. When you rotate the camera it takes several seconds for the textures to pop in.

Let me know when you want to co-op.

It didn't seem that bad last night when I was doing that. I could definitely see the pop in, but it was usually quick.

If you catch me online, shoot me a message for co-op.
