I disagree with this entirely.

Someone who plays cheese or even a "questionable" game against someone who plays straight is probably going to win 9 times out of 10. They are taking advantage of things the str8 player isn't, so stick skills or not they are going to have a pretty decent edge.

No doubt people get salty over losses from time to time but it doesn't always mean that at all.

Yeah some people can get like that. Then there's the "I'm too baller to call anyone out as a cheeser" type, who could get cheesed all game long and wouldn't say a word cause they "aint no whiny bitch".

Pretty much anyone that is has a 95% win percentage probably has a strategy to fuck with AI for their advantage. Most of the time you won't even know it is happening.

We have guys in our NCAA OD that are very good at the game (Mogriffjr). They win a lot of games, but some are very very close and they still go on losing streaks here and their b/c frankly things do go their way sometimes and you have to just lose. They sont break out the plays that fuck up simple EA computer programming.

I find it funny that DSA is on most lists here. No one could beat him for a while and people were saying he was straight back then.....now all of a sudden everyone is crying out cheese.....wth?

This ^^. There's too much randomness done by the AI for someone to win that often while playing str8. Especially for those that play on All Madden. There's been plenty of all Madden games i've played where you can see a few key plays made by CPU AI defenders. You can't tell me that "shit just doesn't happen" in Madden.

So for someone to win at such a high ratio, they are clearly doing things the AI has no ability to effect. You could argue that "well the player should be making the plays then" but if you take a step back once you get into that situation, is it really "normal" football at that point? I would say it's probably not.

Well I would wager that many guys from the PS3 Online group from that era were of the same ilk I just mentioned.....the guys too hard to call anyone out.

I don't agree with the fact someone just calls someone cheese because they can't win. Many of the guys here are very capable Madden players. Most of us know it is just a game and can handle a loss. It just baffled me when there were guys who were straight up cheese but other players said they played them str8. I agree, I played them both, I even played Korn when he came here for a lil bit to troll Izzy.... Korn told me he was going to cheese and he did, he beat me, with DSA everybody would just say how good he was, and he was quick on the sticks but he was overall just cheese. there are a ton of people here that play the same way as eachother so would never call a person cheese, calling people cheese isn't very "gangsta" lol Dudes trying to throw stones living in glass houses and they don't even realize it. I see how people play and there are only a few things that really bother me like when people move around too many guys and set them up in places that are past normal shifts, shit like that. People can call me cheese all they want but I don't set players or anything I just call a defense and then will hot route a couple guys here and there to adjust to things but I don't move and specifically set them up places. Everybody around here will do shady shit from time to time and usually they don't even notice it.

I don't even think Korn can be called cheese cuz he didn't give a fuck about it he would tell you straight up.

I agree. I prefer to manual controller one of the gunner blockers and run as soon as the ball is snapped to gain extra blocking. that is cool with me.
