I have a copy on PS3, and it's fun. The objective modes can be hard if you don't have teamwork and communication. I haven't experienced any major gameplay issues. However, playing it with a controller feels a bit odd mostly because you don't aim down sights (not to mention the sensitivity that I complained about earlier), and there are more actions than buttons on the controller.

I'm going to try and rearrange my PS3 area tomorrow so I can actually try out the keyboard/mouse feature, and I'll report back once I've given that a go.

I'm liking how its still just pick up and go. No need to worry about what level your at and other bs. It's something I've found to be a problem in a lot of todays FPS's. I myself am tired of seeing games where the objective is to level up to get better guns and not to beat what the maps objective is. BF3 hit me hard with this and its probably one of the main reasons I dislike it. I've put a solid 40 to 50 hours into that game and still haven't unlocked everything and feel handicapped by this.

Game works well on a variety of different comps and isn't overly flashy. I managed to get a look at some of the console version and really if you have a decent computer you should just go PC since it seems so slow on the console. The game just isn't made for a slow ass controller.

I finally got around to setting up a keyboard/mouse combo on my PS3, and it was soooo much better than a controller. It's not as smooth as what you'd get on a good PC, but I think it's worth the effort to make the switch from the controller. The only problem now is that I need a USB hub to be able to use my good mic.

If you guys like competitive shooters, especially old school fans, I'd recommend checking out Shootmania (specifically Elite mode) as well. If you're into the genre it's nice having both CS GO and SM in the library as there's not a lot else (anything else) out there.

Played some 5v5 tonight with two friends in a classic competitive quickmatch scrim server. Really the best way to play this game, love how they have quickplay now.

Valve accidentally revealed weapon skins and Weapon Cases similar to the crates and chests in TF2 and Dota 2 respectively will be coming to CS:GO.



The next update should be rolling out in a day or two.
