I just got my copy of Madden NFL 12.

Couple quick things I got from the "game changer" I am pals with. Didn't want to leach a million impressions off him. Showed him the thread and his reply..."L-M-A-O"

-Zones actually work this year.

-Running animations are much more fluid.

-Presentation gives a true "TV" like feeling while playing.

-Controls are a lot smoother.

Now that is a true VSN friend. (VSD, VD, whatever we are)

Thread is laughable. I looked at the GameChangers site and how you get to become one. No offense to Rush's contact because he at least gave him some details, but it looks to be a contest to see who can slurp the most pole to get on the team.

I mean, seriously, look at the application. I've seen forum moderator applications longer than this (funny on both ends of that.)

1. Why do you want to be an EA SPORTS Game Changer?

2. What would the EA SPORTS Game Changers program gain from having you as a member?

3. What would the EA SPORTS Community gain from having you as a member of the EA SPORTS Game Changers program?

4. What EA SPORTS games do you currently play?

5. Is there anything else that you'd like us to consider when reviewing your application?

If they didn't get perks like getting all the games early, I would feel sorry for the guys who have to wade through all of the applications saying "Cuz I own some peepz in Madden."

Seriously, if you want people to test games, forget an application. Just go to people individually who contribute to the forum and quietly ask if they want to test them or get them early. At least, that is how I would do it. Then again, I'm not looking to get my ass kissed by a bunch of strangers who just want a game a few weeks early.

Essentially the "Game Changers" program is who can slurp the most pole. 99% of the program is just enlisting fake support from people in the community which gives EA an infallible marketing strategy. The people who receive the game will not be able to be overly critical otherwise they won't be allowed in the program pretty much.

After speaking with my contact, he said there are 48 guys currently gamechangers and outside of him and maybe 3-4 others, it's all schlubs. It's all EA suck-ups who just want a free copy a little bit early. After looking at who some of the game changers are, I would say this guy is the closest thing to an ideal game changer for the common fan. As in he will actually get shit done as far as making sure the Madden team is aware of what the community wants/needs. He isn't NatureBoy who will just say "dude the game is flawless, great job guys".

I agree with this. You come in here, brag about getting the game, then give no impressions. At the very least, you can learn enough about EA Sports and its policy of not releasing info before release date before coming in here and bragging about having it and giving us info.

Natureboy, I forgive you for being a two-faced asshole on MM ... but don't continue the behaviour/behavior here. And don't whine because you're called out for it.
